Mission Work Groups
This month, we hosted two mission work groups with volunteers from Virginia, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Alabama! We built a house for a family in Reynosa and had the groups’ help on the Deantin community center. Plus, they delivered grocery packages and helped with the children’s nutrition program.

Trip to Charlotte
Our executive director David and our associate director Colleen had a fantastic trip to Charlotte this month! They were thrilled to see so many friends and make new connections. Throughout the three days, they were able to visit with the congregations and/or members of all four of the ministry’s current church partners in Charlotte: Harrison UMC, Myers Park UMC, Christ Lutheran, and Covenant Presbyterian.
A HUGE thanks to all who made this trip so wonderful! We love to travel, and we would love to come visit your church or area, so please get in touch with Colleen or David.
Nutrition Program in Miguel Alemán
Our staff and spiritual growth volunteers in Miguel Alemán are always making sure that the kids in the rural community of Guardados de Arriba get a nutritious meal and spiritual encouragement each week. Thank you for your support that helps to make this possible! ❤️

Mission Work Groups & Houses
Between October and November, we will host 12 groups who will be build 16 houses for families in Reynosa. We are so excited and appreciate your prayers for a smooth season!
30th Anniversary Fiesta
On Saturday, October 19, we’ll be hosting a fiesta in Reynosa, Mexico, to celebrate Faith Ministry’s 30 years of making a difference! We will also be cutting the ribbon on the Deantin community center in Naranjito.

Christmas Fiestas
This year’s Christmas fiestas will take place Monday, December 16, through Wedneday, December 18. These are such an exciting time to join us in Reynosa! If you’d like to visit, please email Colleen at colleen@faithministry.org.
As in years past, we will have a fiesta for all of the families that we’ve built homes for this year with songs, prayer, grocery packages, toys, and a good meal; fiestas for our children at our different nutrition programs; and a fiesta for our staff. In addition to these fiestas, we will also deliver grocery packages door-to-door. In total, we hope to be able to bless more than 1,000 people through our fiestas this year. And we need your help to do it!

Prayer Requests
We believe in the power of prayer, so please join us in praying for:
- Don José, our gardener, woodworker, and nightguard in Naranjito, who has begun chemotherapy for his cancer diagnosis. Pray for strength for him and his family.
- Omar, who continues to battle a wide variety of health issues. He remains in Monterrey, and we ask for your continued prayers for his health, wellbeing, and recovery, as well as for his comfort and peace.
- The health of our staff, volunteers, Board of Directors, and friends around the world

In Case You Missed It
Just hours before our arrival to Charlotte this month, Hurricane Helene swept through western North Carolina, just two or so hours from where we were. It is heart-breaking to see the devastation there and in other regions that Helen went through. Our prayers are with all those affected and with our church partners and other organizations and first responders who are doing everything in their power to help.
