Construction
We have been blessed with three teams visiting us in Reynosa so far this March with two more coming before the end of the month! By then, we’ll be building Casa #9 of 2015. God is great! Not only have the teams worked hard to lay block for the walls, pour cement to create floors and roofs, and tie rebar until their hands hurt, they have also formed special relationships with their Mexican brothers and sisters. Through the hard work, smiles, laughter, and fellowship, we see that God is truly at work here.
Matching Challenge
This month, we kicked off our 2015 Matching Challenge! Our goal is $12,000, and every dollar given toward this challenge will be matched. That means we can build FOUR houses in Mexico for the cost of two. That means four families will be blessed with a home — two families in Reynosa and two families in Miguel Alemán. Give today online at faithministry.org/give or by sending at check to PO Box 756, McAllen, TX, 78505, and spread the word to your friends and family. A new home for each of these four families would be an answered prayer for each of them, so we thank you for supporting them and this ministry!
Mission at Miguel Alemán
Our brother Benito who pastors our church in Miguel Alemán recently visited some families in the community there. He was accompanied by two women from DIF, a social assistance institution in Mexico that works to improve the well-being of Mexican families. They handed out several food packages and sang and prayed together with the families.
Please keep the community in Miguel Alemán in your prayers. The area continues to experience violence, and we would appreciate your prayers for the staff and families that live there.
